Too many open files on Synology

Post by manolo75 » Wed Mar 29, 2017 7:25 am

Hi,

I am running Transmission version 2.92-12 on a Synology DS412+ and I keep on having the error message : "Unable to save resume file - Too many open files"

Then all my files are getting the paused status. I can do a resume on it so it starts again, but after a few minutes, always the too many open files message.

I tried a few things like modifying the open files system's value but it did not help : ulimit -n 65535 .

Can you please help me ?

Thanks,

Regards,

Manu

Thanks, I have read this before. I solved it by changing these 2 settings :

"peer-limit-global": 800,
"peer-limit-per-torrent": 200,

Manu

I am also searching for the same question answer and I am glad I have found it in your post.
Due to the lockdown, everybody is getting exhausted at home and a significant number of them are jobless. I was likewise stressed over it since I lost my employment too yet then I discovered https://casinosapproved.info/fr/2-dolla ... -en-ligne/ site in which I can play casino games and can earn real cash.
