Too many open files on Synology

Hi,

I am running Transmission version 2.92-12 on a Synology DS412+ and I keep on having the error message : "Unable to save resume file - Too many open files"

Then all my files are getting the paused status. I can do a resume on it so it starts again, but after a few minutes, always the too many open files message.

I tried a few things like modifying the open files system's value but it did not help : ulimit -n 65535 .

Can you please help me ?

Thanks, I have read this before. I solved it by changing these 2 settings :

"peer-limit-global": 800,
"peer-limit-per-torrent": 200,
