I remember reading some years ago that there was a problem with the Transmission client posting 100% on a given torrent but if a user manually ran verify on that torrent it would fail and the percentage would drop requiring additional time to complete.
I wrote a torrent complete script to log and verify completed torrents and am seeing this happen at a rate of just over 11%--meaning the average user might have to manually verify 100 torrents to see 11 drop back below 100% or possibly unknowingly end up with corrupt data.
Is this normal for the process and inherent in the p2p protocol or should Transmission be verifying torrents and catching this automatically?
