How to disable IPV6 in source code?

Post by derekcentrico » Sun Mar 04, 2018 4:38 pm

I've been searching for an up-to-date article for the latest Transmission code - using 2.93. Can anyone elaborate on how to disable this in the source code?

The old method of using wrong binding addresses in the settings.conf no longer works for me. I was using the bind discussed here: viewtopic.php?t=11567

So, I have only IPV4 traffic flowing through a tunnel and now Transmission is using my local IPV6.

All help appreciated.

Okay, I found something finally. https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2260456

The patch doesn't work at this point as the line is different. But, searching for the stuff makes it an easy kill and now this plus the workaround bind setting works.
