I've got a new PC and have tried for many hours to find out how to set / change the transmission username and password on my synology 213j, as I can't remember it. I set it years ago, but can't find out how I did it...
I think I used an app called "config file editor", but it doesn't work anymore - the author hasn't updated it for a long time & I think the latest version of the synology OS doesn't support it.
Is it possible to telnet or ssh into the synology box and change the username and password for the transmission user?
If so, could someone please post a step by step guide written for a 7 year old (I'm a lot older than that, but very stupid when it comes to telnet etc)
