what's the 2.94 -> 3.00 upgrade process?

I'm currently seeding 100s of torrents located in multiple directories. Can I simply point transmission 3.00 to the resume directory and it'll pick everything up? Will I have to verify all the torrents?

In short: is there a best practice method to perform the upgrade? what can I expect to happen? anything I should do to prepare?

Pause all torrents. Quit Transmission. Install v3 and fire it up. Select all torrents and resume.

I should've mentioned I'm using Transmission Daemon. I guess that doesn't change the suggestion, right?
