I'm confused as to whether this is intentional or a bug. When accessing the web interface with a LAN ip (192.168.x.x:9091 or similar) I always go straight in without having to provide my user/pass. If I access the same local IP URL with Transmission Remote GUI it asks for a password. If I access the web interface through an internet URL (mydomain.com:9091 or similar) it asks for a password. I don't have any whitelists configured.
It seems like there's something wrong with the web interface login code for local IPs, especially because Transmission Remote GUI works properly when accessing the same URL.
No login required when accessing web interface from inside the LAN
