Moved Files No Longer Upload

Post by rs6er »

In an effort to save room on my laptop, I dragged my Shared folder to an external hard disk. Now Transmission no longer sees those files. How can I get them te begin seeding again.

Transmission > File menu > Move Data Files To...

Don't forget:
  • Make sure all torrents are paused
  • You must choose the enclosing folder, not the data files itself
  • Choose Verify Local Data from the Transfer menu

I must be really slow but
Transmission > File menu > Move Data Files To...
does not seem to be available!

I am using V1.34 (6778) on Ubuntu 8.10 and the menu options I see are: Torrent; Edit; View; Help

How/where is the "File" menu? (Or is there some other way to tell Transmission about 'easter' files?)

Thanks . . .

I was referring to the mac gui, but I think (not sure) that a similar feature exists in the GTK gui. (maybe not in 1.32, but in 1.42, not sure at all)
