How do I forward my port on OS X 10.5.3

Post by Anomaly7 »

Hey All,

I'm new here so I am not sure if this has already been posted. I am running Transmission 1.42 on MAc OSX 10.5.3. I am using a Netgear FM114P router, with Cablevision's Optimum ISP.

My problem: Transmission is downloading very slow. I have run a speedtest several times and used the azerus calculator to determine an upload cap. I am trying to port forward but am not sure how to on my system. I have checked port forward but it is no help for me.

Can someone walk me through step by step.

Thanks,
Sean

Did you follow the links in the Transmission website FAQ for manual port forwarding under increasing download speed? I did this and used a model of router similar to mine which was close enough and the instructions worked a treat.
