Transmission version 1.42 has closed all ports.

After upgrading to version 1.42 on OSX 10.4.11 all of my ports are closed. I have port forwarded properly and the port still remains closed. I have reverted to older versions of transmissions and every other torrent manager available to mac and still all of my ports remain closed. The ports that i was using on the previous version of transmission and every other port that i have tried are not being seen at canyouseeme.org. I have my firewall turned off completely and still nothing. I have read about this happening to lots of others out there and hope that a solution will emerge soon.
