I have a MacBookPro, 2.53GHz, Airport Extreme connected to the condo's internet, which is connected to the provider via radio waves: ip2.com.br

If he's running Snow Leopard (as I am) your guides aren't a lot of help because the system pref/sharing control panel has been redesigned and doesn't contain the same options anymore.
