Transmission on android

Post by tman »

Hi,
There is a plan to port Transmission for android based devices like tablets or andro media players ? Many new devices have now powerful processors and storage that could easily run transmission

A full client would likely perform horribly due to the constant small chunk writing to on board flash memory or memory card.

Also since transmission doesn't currently bind to a specific interface the risk of using up all of your 3G data would be HIGH.

Screw the Android!

Focus instead on improving the Mac and iPhone clients.
