At times when opening a magnet link I want to (A) only find out which files are inside the torrent or (B) only grab a specific set of files from it rather than the entire torrent. This is a bit difficult to do at the moment since paused torrents don't download metadata. As none of the target files show up in the "Files" tab until the .torrent file is received, I can't deselect files to download until it has completely grabbed the torrent file.
Instead I "play this little game" where I keep an eye on the torrent, and when it switches from "Downloading metadata" to "Downloading from peers" I pause it, deleting any .part files it may have created so far. It works, but is inconvenient.
