I've come over from the QNAP forums:-
http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=221&t=44999
Was wondering if somebody could be so kind as to help with putting together a QPKG, or at least some instructions for how to compile one?
All I know is that the QNAP NAS I'm using to host Transmission has an Arm-x19 CPU, and runs some sort of Unix (not sure which flavor). Unfortunately, I don't have enough expertise with Unix to follow the guides on how to compile the source.

Re: Putting together a QPKG
Why do you think that we, on this forum, would have better knowledge in putting together QPKG packages than people on the QNAP forum? The Transmission devs do NOT put together any installation packages them self outside of the Mac OS one.
Searching Google with "building qpkg" (and correcting it's "correction") this was the first result: http://wiki.qnap.com/wiki/QPKG_Development_Guidelines
