[feature request] Initial seed mode / Super seed mode

It would be nice if transmission could support the initial seed mode (super seed mode in some clients) by which when one is the first seeder he can spread the release.

I agree. I recently had to boot into Windows to do some gaming, and I have been using uTorrent. I notice it has an 'initial-seeding' option. Unfortunately this doesn't work as well as one would hope, but it sure would come in handy when uploading huge files, GB or larger especially. I have had to upload 15+ GB so far in this past day and still no second seeder on my 7.2 gb file. I normally use Transmission exclusively on the Mac side. I know I would definitely use this feature. I can't complain though. You've been keeping the program free! Cheers.
