choose the priority of the torrent

Post by kasmador »

You all know when you download something you can choose what file you want downloaded first. Could this be added to the upload side also. Not really which piece in one torrent, but if you have two torrent you could be able to choose which one you want to allocated more bandwidth to.

Also this would be nice for downloading, not only be able to set the priority for a file in the torrent but for torrents over other torrents.

thanks

A way to do this is to set individual speeds. It'll place the torrent 'outside' of the global bandwidth meter. Though this may not exactly what you had in mind, but it does do the job.

Agreed. The ability to set the priority of a torrent would be handy, especially when you're absolutely, positively need last night's episode of QI, RIGHT NOW.

It seems that 1.50 beta3 has fixed this error, and it does not get outside the global bandwidth meter (might be a few errors in it though)
