Hi... thanks for listening to all my ideas here -- just making the switch from Azureus to this wonderful client and have some ideas.
The request is for some way to get a text file list of paths of all data files and corresponding torrent files, either overall or by group.
The purpose of this is mainly in the unlikely event of wanting to switch later to another client.
This could be achieved either with an export function or by selecting copy with torrent(s) or group(s) selected.
Even better would be to create a folder of finder aliases of the parent folders of data files -- but that's a tall order and could be scripted from the path list if necessary.
maybe those with experience with multiple clients have others ideas -- but the general intent is how to provide a sort of built-in migration capability among torrent clients.
On the import side, Azureus SORT OF produces such a path list (see http://forum.transmissionbt.com/viewtop ... 212#p34410.)
If Transmission were scriptable, it would be possible to parse a list of paths of data files and torrent files and add them. Such a list could be manually editted from the list copied from Azureus and pasted into a text file.
