Set Default Application

Postby dmatic » Sat Feb 19, 2011 2:58 am

How can i set Transmission to be my Default Application. I did download Vuze so i can transfer stuff to my Tivo but since then Vuze is my Default Application and any links/files do open there. Even when I press: Accept Magnet Links: Set Default Application I cant get it to work unless i uninstall Vuze. Can anyone help me out?

In Finder, get info on a torrent file. There should be a menu and button to make Transmission the default client for that type.

For Magnet Links using F/F see Prefs->Applications.

What does x190 above "using F/F"?

The screen above is what I need but I can't figure out where it is.
