My isntall of Transmission ignores the Cmd+H keyboard command, whereas all other applications comply.
Also, I am aware that if Transmission is the last open application it would not hide, but this problem happens even when there are other applications behind it.
Bug? Cmd + H does not work on Snow Leopard

I've since discovered it is happening on a bunch of applications, so probably a Finder or OS problem. Thanks

I sometimes am unable to hide the app if it's the last visible on screen. Thought it was fixed in 10.9, but recently reproduced it. Maybe your case, maybe not.

I'm on 10.8 and I know that until now, it has always been impossible to hide the last application in OS X
