It's been a while since every time I use Transmission I can't use my internet for other things. Since I don't own a full-duplex connection, I started suspecting about the upload bandwidth. I tried to set different limits, but with no success. I then started using iStat Menus to monitor what was happening.
Here is a screenshot showing that even with the Limit Upload flag set to 10KB/s, iStat Menus pointed a larger bandwidth been used by Transmission, while Transmission pointed only the 10KB/s.

Can you help me? It's been a pain using Transmission and not being able to do anything else.
I'm using v2.84 (14306).
