Transmission has started giving flagrantly false readings of download speed. Whereas my usual DL speed varies from 90 KB/s to 150 KB/s, halfway through a download Transmission will start to indicate a constantly accelerating DL speed which bears no relationship to reality; after about an hour or so, it might indicate a speed of 120 MB/s and over! This is now occurring very regularly, but not invariably.
Can anybody suggest a reason and a cure?
