Transmission hangs then won't force quit

Hi all, I just switched over from Deluge/Utorrent. I keep coming across an issue where Transmission hangs....then I quit and it doesn't fully quit. I got to force quit but nothing happens. I check he activity monitor and tried killall but it says no instances of the program are running. When I go to try and restart the computer it says I need to shut down Transmission before I can restart. It's just a circular loop. The only way to force a reboot is to power down. Here's the crash log. Any ideas what could be wrong?

I have the same problem. Transmission consumes gigabites of memory and goes in BBOD. If you kill it, you can't relaunch it
