Slowly checking of remotely added torrents

Hi,

I have the following setup: Windows 10 PC with Firefox and Transmission easy client as extension and a Mac Mini with Transmission (incl. webUI) in my local network.

Everything works fine when I download torrents immediately on my Mac Mini. But when I add a magnet link via the transmission easy client on my Windows PC, I see in the webUI that Transmission is progressing very slowly with the checking of the files. As soon as I log into my Mac Mini via TeamViewer and go to Transmission, the checking is done instantly and it starts downloading at full speed.

Does anyone know why this checking takes so long when adding torrents remotely? Anything I can do to disable this checking or make it faster?
