I'm running transmission 2.92 (14714) on macOS Seirra v10.12 beta (16A270f)
I tried to get a torrent magnetic link and noticed it wasn't picking up any peers even after 30 minutes. I checked preferences > Network > Peer listening port: and it had 64959 listed in that field.
I checked my Apple Time Capsule setting for port forwarding and it had port "84959" listed. So I changed the '6' in transmission to '8' but it wouldn't save it, it just reverted back to '8'. I eventually had to change it my routers setup to get it to work, which did sort of work. Transmissions still says the port is closed and has a red dot, but the torrent downloaded just fine after I made changes to the router config.
Why does it not keep the updated setting for the peer listening port?
