Restarting torrents after new OS install
I put a fresh install of El Capitan on a new SSD. I transferred over preferences/cache/application support files as instructed here. But not having any luck getting Transmission to recognize the old prefs/cache/application support files. Old Transmission was 2.84 i think, while the new drive has the latest 2.92--does that matter? When I open Transmission it's just blank. If I can't get it to read old preference files, how do I get all my old torrents (several hundred) reseeding without going through them one by one? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Ah yes the username is different! Crap. Thanks for easily figuring that out.
I don't understand how to add them in batches tho. I see how to add them by dropping the torrent file onto the main window, after which i have to set the location and verify local data in the window that pops up for each torrent one by one. Are you referring to a way of doing this en masse?
