Strange non download of data file

Transmission seems to be working normally except for one particular file. There are lots of seeds and I am connected to 11 but I've been waiting for the data file to download for 10 hours now. In the meantime I've had no problem with other downloads. This is not an obscure file either. What can be the cause for this and is there anything I can do?

Been 24 hours and still not metadata. Yes, it does seem to be more leechers than seeders. But I've never seen a situation where I can see a bunch of peers but I cannot even download the metadata for the file! There's no actual data to make a copy of so I deleted the torrent and clicked a new magnet link which instantly connected to 14 peers but again will not download the file metadata.

Currently listed as 3 seeders and 14 leachers on torrent site.

I think the title of this thread may be inadvertently misleading as it is the metadata file that is not downloading not 'data'.

There appears to be no "real" seeder for this torrent. Everyone has zero percent. Over the past few hours I've connected to at least 40 different connected clients and not one client has sent a single piece of metadata. I also received requests for metadata pieces over 3000 times. Since no one has sent a single metadata piece and I've received requests for metadata this all strongly indicates there is no proper seeder and a broken torrent at this time.

OK, so it's not just me. Log says network unreachable. Yes I was also wondering about the ticks, I thought that meant that someone has 100%.
