How to force Transmission to recognise new tracker address

Post by Milorad »

Greetings to all, :D

My favourite tracker has decided to change it's address !! Instead of of changing the address one by one (100 plus) within Transmission, I made a multiple search/replace using BBedit. Before copying the .torrent files with the new address in the desired folder, I've quit Transmission and restarted after changing the .torrent files. Well, it does not work how I would like. In the tracker tab, in the inspector, within Transmission I still have the old address.
How can I get Transmission to recognise the new .torrent files ?

Thank you in advance for your help and wish you a good day. :D

Follow up on my first post. The tracker changed it’s address again. Instead of using BBedit to batch change the address on the .torrent files, I used “Transgui”, downloaded at https://sourceforge.net/projects/transgui/. I found the solution here on the forum at -> “Batch change tracker information”
