Terminal commands

Post by Rick1 »

Mac OS 10.6.8
Transmission 2.82 (14160)

I know adding an option to stop all scrapes on paused torrents has been discussed and turned down.
Someone suggested adding this to Terminal " defaults write org.m0k.transmission scrape-paused-torrents-enabled false ".
All torrents in client paused, still have this in Inspector 'Last Scrape: Today 2:57A'.

I read this for daemon 2.22 viewtopic.php?t=12375
Said a hidden setting in settings.json, adding " scrape-paused-torrents-enabled " does stop all scrapes of paused torrents.

Is there such a Terminal or other entry/change for Transmission 2.82 (14160)?
If other than by Terminal how is it implemented?

Thanks for your help.

Nothing?
No yes, no, maybe, who knows, who cares, we will get back to you?
Can't imagine there is no command of any sort to modify client behavior when there is this "a hidden setting in settings.json, adding " scrape-paused-torrents-enabled " does stop all scrapes of paused torrents." for a different version.

Does this mean staff no longer reads all posts, so they can at least acknowledge request for help by telling poster there is no such thing / solution / another place to ask?
