but now the port statusnow says closed/red :(*
Impossible to have a correct port in green light :(

1. Normal ISP while doing public domain sharing -- my green light issues have to do with which ports my router is set up to forward. When I tell Transmission to randomize the port on startup, it sometimes picks something that my router does not forward. So I now have the listening port set to a specific number.

2. When using a VPN, I use servers specifically setup to do P2P. The light does not show green. However, it all works just fine.There is a website that you can check/ verify. https://ipleak.net Use the torrent address detection and it will show your port --- even though Transmission calls it out as red.
