I installed transmission-cli and I set the data directory to ~/torrents... but it did not understand and it literally set the data directory to "~/torrents" in my current directory, not my home directory......
I tried to fix this by uninstalling and reinstalling... but my old settings are still there.
It's especially annoying because I downloaded some torrents that I really wanted, but I deleted the erroneous data directory, and now when I try to re download the torrents, it says I already have them. Even though I have run transmission-remote -t [torrentNumber] -rad to remove and delete them.
I installed it with homebrew.
How do I completely wipe transmision-cli, including all caches and all settings, and reinstall it completely anew, as if it had never existed on my machine before?
How to completely uninstall transmission-cli and reinstall anew ?
