Not finding/connecting to peers

Post by kwiqsilver »

For the past two weeks or so, when downloading a torrent, the entry in Transmission will sit at '0 of 0 peers' forever. In the inspector, it shows "No Response" for the tracker announce and scrape responses. I went through all of the support docs on the wiki, verified that my connection was not blocked, and successfully downloaded the Ubuntu iso as suggested. The site I'm trying to get tracker information from claims to be the world's largest bittorrent tracker, so it seems unlikely that they've been down for two weeks straight. But I doubt it's a bug, because it works fine with some torrents.

What else could it be? Is there a way to get more information out of Transmission? I have the message window open, and all I see is an occasional message about the scrape response or tracker response being 0.

I'm running 1.50b5 on Mac OS 10.5.6, with the 51413 port set to forward in my AirPort and firewall.
