The tiger experiemental was still being tempramental on a 8mhz ppc os 10.4.11 re: the progress bar issue .

On a lighter note i discovered that i had a failing firewire port on an external hd so it wasnt transmission that was interfering with data transfer in the first instance but Transmission had been effected by that issue.

However i note that transmission can be slow or heavy if the download / upload rates are high - ie moving the window pane around.

If you can sort out the progress bar issue before abandoning tiger support - that would be good.
