many thanks for your reaction:

"La création de "torrent name.torrent" à échoué
Une erreur inconnue est survenue (1)
translation:
"the creation of "torrent name.torrent " has failed
an unknown error occured (1)"

this is the message Transmission gives when I try to create a torrent
any solution ?

What are the exact steps that you follow that end up in the error?

only create a new torrent by the file menu item, or by draging the forlder in transmission, after having the http address of the tracker complete. I used to do that for monthes with my old computer and that worked.

Could you try using a Nightly Build and see if you are still having the problem?

I'd like to add my voice to the list - same thing happens when I try to create a torrent, whether through the menu, or by dragging a folder onto the interface. I thought perhaps it was due to the size of my torrent, or the number of components, but I've tried everything from 1 gig and 800 files, to a single file of 1 MB and nothing seems to work.

I'm running Transmission 1.73 and OS 10.5.7

I have submitted a potential fix. Can you try r9101 or later?

Yes this problem still exists. What the hell is going on? I've tried separate folders, separate websites, and still get the error #1 message.

roderick: I'd be more inclined to help if you didn't come off as a jerk.

What version number was that? Go through the exact steps you did to create the torrent. What tracker did you use? Perhaps post a video.
