Pasting multiple trackers in 1.80b1
Pasting multiple trackers in 1.80b1
Hi guys!
How does a list of multiple trackers need to look like if I want to post them in the tracker window? Is there any special format I need to choose?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Pasting multiple trackers in 1.80b1
they each have to be in their own line
Re: Pasting multiple trackers in 1.80b1
Ok, thanks for the answer. But I already tried that and it didn't work.livings124 wrote:they each have to be in their own line

Re: Pasting multiple trackers in 1.80b1
Pasting that list into the tracker table works fine for me in 1.80b1.

Alright, it is even easier than I thought.livings124 wrote:Pasting that list into the tracker table works fine for me in 1.80b1.
I always hit "+" to add the list. Now I realized that you only have to highlight the tracker window and paste the list!
Awesome! Thanks!

Interesting point, perhaps it should work for that too?

Well I think that's what you think off first. If it would work both ways it would be fool proof.livings124 wrote:Interesting point, perhaps it should work for that too?

Re: Pasting multiple trackers in 1.80b1
This is now in trunk for 1.80.
Re: Pasting multiple trackers in 1.80b1
Definitely a good idea.
Re: Pasting multiple trackers in 1.80b1
Can I use this method to change the tracker(s) on multiple torrents at once?
I searched the forum but didn't find this question specifically but it's similar to this one so I thought I'd post here instead of starting a new topic.
I recently had to change my passkey with a tracker that I'm seeding hundreds, nearly 1,000, torrents on. I could find no way to change the tracker / announce URL for a group of torrents in one action. I had to do it manually for each one, very tedious.
I think I was using 2.6 or the version just before the 2.6 release, 2.53 maybe?
Thanks in advance for any help!!

I asked this same question Oct 18, 2011 in thread titled 'Batch change tracker information' here viewtopic.php?f=4&t=12307
At the time the answer from Transmission Developer livings124 was no.
Hopefully there has been a change since then.
