Comcast Throttling

I hear through some other boards, by downloading torrents using port 80, you will not be throttled. Does can anyone direct me how to set this up?

Just so you know: some systems do not allow binding to any port 1-1024 by a regular user.

Transmission > Preferences: > Network > Peer Listening Port > 80

This will only set the incoming port to 80. IIRC, when Transmission initiates the connection, it will be a random port that is managed by the Operating System.
