I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what could be causing my Transmission to stop working.
I was using a PPC G5 for my torrenting and everything was fine. I'm not savvy when it comes to using BT,
but Transmission always handled my tech-challenged needs.
However, I recently changed to an intelMac, running Snow Leopard. With the change, I upgraded my Transmission to the very latest version and
that's when things went downhill.
O peers. O seeders. O everything all the time.
No matter how many hundreds of seeds a torrent has, transmission won't download anything. I don't think
it's a magnet link issue, either, because my old Transmission handled them just fine. I tried going back
to my old version (and several other older versions), but that won't work now, either. I ended up trying
uTorrent just to see if I'd get the same results, but I didn't. It downloaded everything as expected, but I
don't want that client.
As I stated earlier, I'm not tech savvy, so I'm really not sure how to proceed to get it working again.
