Sort By removed from gear on main window

A minor gripe perhaps, but I got really used to accessing the Sort By menu from the little gear at the bottom left of the main window; now in v2.77 (and maybe sooner) that's been removed. You can still access the sort feature under the View pulldown menu, but why make this change? The gear used to have a lot of handy options under it, now its only bandwidth and seeding limits. I don't understand the point of this change and wish it'd be brought back.
