I'm using a Mac (Maveriks but doesn't matter because i had the same problem on earlier versions of the OS) and a Transmission version 2.82 (14160).
It happened 3 or 4 times that i had not enough space on the disk for a file i started downloading.
The alert gives me 2 possibilities: "download anyway" or "go to properties and deselect the files you do not want to download"
In either case, also after deleting the torrent file, restarting the Mac and so on, the space that transmission initially allocated for my file still remains allocated.
But there's more!! After deleting other files on my disk to regain space, my disk is alwasy full like transmission continues to allocate all free space on my disk with no end.
Why is this happening??
