Hello,
Transmission seems to be a nice and handy client, I'd love to use it, but only if I could bind it to one of the network interfaces in my mac mini (not to the default). I have two ISP connections and I want to use one of them only for torrent traffic, but not the default one. There is no way to swap them because of another application.
I do not want to run another OS in VMware either...
Is it difficult to implement?
THX

Re: [REQ] Please allow Transmission to bind to an interface
This is something that is usually done directly by the operating system. I can't tell you exactly how to do it, Google is your best bet.
Re: [REQ] Please allow Transmission to bind to an interface
Actually, some torrent clients offers the option of choosing which interface/s to bind to specifically, with one of these being Azuerus/Vuze.
Re: [REQ] Please allow Transmission to bind to an interface
I asked the same in the Request-board....
Many clients can bind to an interface/ip. (btg, utorrent, azureus, ...)
It should be a daemon/client feature. Bind to * on an server/workstation with many interfaces/ips sucks
