Manually inject a peer

Post by crishoj »

Hi,

Would be nice to be able to manually inject a peer (IP/port) for a torrent.

Best,

I'd probably say that you have to be more convincing to be able to call the attention of the developers :) Which would be the reasons? Would you elaborate more?

Say I have an active torrent on one box, and access to a second box on another, faster connection. I start the same torrent on the other box, to provide more bandwidth for all peers. For some reason Transmission on my first box does not pick up the peer on the second box. In this case it would be nice to be able to manually add the 2nd, known peer.

This would be awesome!

I use the Peer Injection plugin to do it with Vuze when I need to do this, crishoj!
