RQ:More download management

I really like transmission but what makes me want to switch to other BitTorrent client some times is that there is no download management. It would be nice if you could add something like max active downloads/max active torrents (download + seed)/queuing of downloads/force start. I don't need all of them as bad as I need the queuing option. I download 2-3 torrents at a time every day and I want to put them in downloading order. I hate to have to check if one is downloaded so I can start the other which I have paused. If someone could be so kind to tell me if the developers are thinking of such a feature because I couldn't find answer to that question.

This is already available in the Mac version.

I forgot to mention I am using linux.And by you mentioning that this topic is probably better off in the GTK requests.
