Hello,
I have an iPad and an iPhone both with Transmission BT installed. The iPad and iPhone also have a client installed to update their WiFi IP addresses with DynDNS. What i'd like to do is to be able to access Transmission's webUI for either iDevice by typing in their dynamic host names from anywhere I go.
For instance, I would like to leave my iPad at home and be at a Starbucks with my iPhone in my hand and be able to type in my iPad's hostname "iPadsDynamicHost.dyndns.com" in the web browser and be able to see my iPad's Transmissions.
Secondly, the set up also has to take into account that when at home, both the iPad and iPhone will have the same external IP address, so there has to be a way to still access my iPad that is sitting in the living room while i'm in the bed room.
Is this possible? What needs to be done?
