bug: selecting/de-selecting files does not work

I'm using transmission-cli package version 2.73. I run the transmission-daemon on one of my home computers and control it via the web interface from my laptop. After recently upgrading to v2.73, I could no longer select/de-select individual files in a torrent with multiple files. The web interface would show the files ticked/unticked but on refreshing the page, it comes back to original state. Also, on older versions, i could untick a folder and all files inside it would automatically get unticked, this also no longer works.

I downgraded to 2.71 and everything started working well (I'm not sure if any version between 2.71 and 2.73 has this working).

I'm expiriencing exactly the same problems after last update to 2.73 (13589) for Mac.
