Can I forbid the user to change download location?

Post by richard86 »

I currently use Transmission with the Web Interface to download torrents. I let my parents access the Web Interface to download torrents. However, I do not want users of Web Interface to be able to change the download location. Is this possible?

I would edit the web interface and change the text field properties to read only.

Nice solution, I'll use it.

I'll keep looking for ways of instructing transmission-daemon not to allow changes of download location from default set in config file.
