Layered, a new Transmission Web Interface with Material Design

Post by theroyalstudent »

Hey guys,

Just released my new Transmission Web Interface on GitHub, do take a look, and also, do give some feedback about it! I really like using it and hope that you do, too! ・∀・

Layered

Here's a screenshot (updates to latest automatically)

(mobile compatibility not coming anytime soon, though.)

Thanks! :)

Noted, just seen the resources folder, I've been using this same font set for a few clients' projects, forgot to remove the extra unused fonts' folders.
I copied parts of the README.md from kettu, that other theme.

Fixed! Now it's not that heavy anymore :) Do star it if you appreciate my work haha, there's more bugs to be fixed, but I'm just taking some time off the computer for a few weeks...

The router password for that account isn't supposed to be changed, as it's supposed to be for the ISP to access, but some of their technicians just leaked the password, so we could enable stuff without asking their (shitty) tech support.

(and, no one port forwards the router, anyway.)

If interested, and upon your return, the native Web Interface could use help.

Didn't like the native Web Interface, the codebase is pretty confusing for me, which is why I did a complete rewrite.

Anyway, is anyone interested in a more modern (Apple-styled) Web Interface for Transmission? The current one looks a little too dull.

+1.
That's why I did the exact same thing a couple of years ago and created Shift.

Oh, cool! Shift is pretty simple and light on browser resources it seems.

I rewrote the entire thing with my shit code, still got a ton of bugs to fix though. Feel free to find bugs in my code if you have the time - I'm trying to make this as polished as possible as I want to put this as something I've worked on :) Thanks!

Large commit, again!

What's new:
- Made the entire package smaller, removed unnecessary fonts!
- Changed background to a blue-grey, lighter on the eyes :)
- Fixed "NaN" for upload ratio when download is 0KB.
- Free space information has been added to session settings.
- Fixed "Delete All Data" that is not working previously.
- Fixed broken torrent pagination in search after changing torrent filter scope.
- Changed over to CSS transition for progress bar - fixes random progress bar spikes earlier on.

Having it not work on mobile devices seems like a major hurdle. Native apps exist for Android, sure. But not for IOS.
