WebUI - clear torrents from watch folder, automatically

Postby seaseasea » Wed Mar 16, 2016 10:24 pm

Hello

I use WebUI on my seedbox and noticed last week, there are thousand of torrents in the /watch folder that I have uploaded. All these torrents are ended with .added. I checked a few and they are in Transmission WebUI, seeding successfuly.

I asked the seedbox support, and they said, they do not believe Transmission WebUI does not automatically delete the torrent file from the watch folder, but though there may be an option for this in the settings.json file in ~/.config/transmission-daemon

Could you please advise, what file I need to edit and what setting needs to be, so the torrent files are automatically deleted from watch folder after successsfully loading into WebUI.

Thankyou for your help.

Should be fixed now, although trac goes down occasionally.

https://trac.transmissionbt.com/wiki/EditConfigFiles

Stop daemon, then edit settings.json file in ~/.config/transmission-daemon.
