incomplete-dir/download-dir not working with WEB UI

Post by frankjunk »

Hi,

This is a question about the WEB INTERFACE only"

When I download a torrent the web ui asks me for a download location. This seems to override the location in my setting files and as such it does not copy the completed torrent to the completed folder I have specified below. Even if I specify the incomplete folder to be the initial download location in the WEB UI I get the same problem. Also torrents never show up in the "finished" dropdown of the ui, they just go green and continue seeding at 100%.

"download-dir": "/mnt/mybook/downloads"
"incomplete-dir": "/mnt/mybook/downloads/incomplete",

What is your question?

The incomplete-dir appears to be used only when the download-dir matches the entered folder when adding the torrent. You could argue that the free selection of download folder (which could be on another filesystem entirely) conflicts with using a single incomplete-dir. So I would suggest explicitly not using the incomplete-dir setting at all as it is not used when selecting a download folder that differs from download-dir anyway.
