Changing file location via Web Interface

Post by Ivan » Sun Mar 08, 2020 11:20 am

Hi,

I've been using Transmission for years, and I couldn't find any solution in this board (and the wiki seems to be offline).

Is it possible to change the location (and name) of a file after it has been downloaded via the web UI? I would like to keep the new files in the download folder for a while and then move (and rename) them later, but keep sharing them. I haven't found a way to do this.

Thanks!

Thanks! I will look into it during the weekend (looks like it will take some time to install...)

You can actually do that with the regular web interface. Just right-click a torrent and select "Set Location".

You can move files and folders by dragging and dropping them into any directory.

No! Transmission would no longer know where to find the files.
