"Watch Folder" works partially with dropbox folder.

Hi to all, I'm using Dropbox to sync torrents to download.
That is, I have a dropbox folder called "torrents" in my linux Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid) PC.
I set "Automatically add torrents from:" that directory in Transmission Preferences, but when I add a file (save a .torrent in that directory), Transmission doesn't download it.
Anyway, if I quit & restart Transmission, it realizes there's a new .torrent in the watched directory, and proceeds to automatically download it.
Seems an inotify problem to me. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

Transmission version is 1.93 (10621).
