Set Location to NAS fails

I'm trying to troubleshoot why I can't relocate my files to my NAS drive successfully. I can set location to any other (local) drive on my Ubuntu 11.10 file system, but not the NAS. The NAS is a D-Link DNS-323. I have a feeling it is some sort of permissions issue but I can access the drive without issue from Nautilus. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with NAS storage and Transmission GTK?
